1970 Juliard School of Music, NYC.

1974 NFTY Artist in Residence, Camp Kutz, New York.

1977 Master of Fine Arts, Cal Arts.

1978-1990 Live Aid producer. Worked to end world hunger. Composed Hebraic music.

Died in 1990, an early victim of the HIV epidemic, supported by dozens of friends.

    THE ANSELM ROTHSCHILD MEMORIAL SONG COMPETITION
    (No longer available) 1. Lyrics may be in Hebrew and/or English. Lyrics may be original or taken from biblical, liturgical, or other Jewish sources. Sources of text must be cited.
    2. There is no limit to the number of performers or instruments involved in presentation, but only one NFTY Convention scholarship will be awarded per entry.
    3. Entries should be recorded on a cassette tape and accompanied by a typed copy of the song’s lyrics and chords. Quality of recording and performance will not be judged when choosing finalists.
